Santosh instructs Chhavi, Mohit and Meenakshi to take care of the house and shop in her absence. Sooraj tells Sandhya to cover her face after entering the village. Sandhya finds it difficult to see the road but Sooraj guides her. While Sooraj reacquaints with his relatives, Sandhya goes in search of Santosh. Maasa assumes that Sandhya is an officer and treats her with respect and serves her coffee. Santosh is pleased when Maasa learns that Sandhya is Sooraj's wife and reprimands her for sitting with her as an equal. Maasa is displeased to learn about Sandhya's education.
